Please see the following details on how the Axsy Mobile App handles updates to Salesforce Formula Fields on an Object record. 

  • Updates to Salesforce Formula Fields are always calculated on the Salesforce Platform. 
  • Updates to Salesforce Formula Fields can only be conducted when users use the app online.
  • Once an update request has been synced to the Salesforce Platform, users need to conduct a manual sync – or wait for an automatic sync – in order to see the update displayed in the Axsy Mobile App. 
  • When using the app offline, update requests that may result in re-calculation of a formula field are stored in the Pending Uploads Queue of the app, and so the update is queued until the device is online again.
